Cohorts Manager

We're recruiting a Cohorts Manager, a unique role at the forefront of fostering collaborations with academic, clinical, commercial, and funding partners. As the primary point of contact for external cohort inquiries, you'll ensure seamless communication, managing relationships with partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to selected external cohorts enquiries, providing accurate and relevant information relating to the cohorts offering
• Engaging with key decision-makers, funders and senior management, reporting of progress via update reports and submission of financial claims, and coordinating across internal teams to meet the diverse needs of stakeholders throughout the cohorts lifecycle.
• Taking charge of setting up and managing cohort partnerships, handling various aspects such as data, sample requirements, ethics, legalities, governance, finance, and resourcing.
• Capturing all project requirements using appropriate project initiation documentation and systems to secure buy-in as needed
• Planning and organising a range of projects simultaneously, adjusting deadlines to plans where appropriate
• As a proactive problem-solver, you'll identify and mitigate risks, contributing to the success of multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills & Experience for success

We anticipate the ideal candidate will have:

• Life sciences knowledge, in research genetics, cancer or rare disease ideally.
• Knowledge of the funding landscape.
• Demonstrable experience in managing and progressing multiple projects.
• Exposure to research ethics.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at a range of levels
