Cold End Operator – 5 Crew (Shifts)
Doncaster Plant
Role description
The Doncaster business unit has manufactured glass containers since 1968 and is part of a leading supplier in glass packaging solutions for the world’s leading brands. Currently recruiting for the position of Cold End Operator, reporting to Shift Inspection Supervision.
Responsibilities:
Checking that containers are packed using correct materials and labelled correctly in order to meet customer requirements and comply with packaging specifications.
Observing the packaging equipment and report any mechanical malfunctions or container defects that may occur.
Repairing basic faults with packaging equipment.
Conform to Health and Safety Regulations
Recording any occurrences during the shift on various systems to provide an accurate reference point and assist with quality.

What we offer
Minimum £34,638 - £39,766 Maximum per Annum
Salary sacrifice pension scheme with up to 10% matched contributions
Normal shift pattern is determined by the 5-crew shift rota, however, typically consists of a two 12-hour day shifts followed by two 12-hour night shifts and then a six-day rest period., which includes 20 shifts when working the 5 crew 12-hour shift rota - Holidays are built into the shift 5 crew
