Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Collaboration SME to work between London and Remotely for an initial 3 Month Contract.

**THIS ROLE HAS BEEN DEEMED AS OUTSIDE OF IR35**

OVERVIEW
As part of a global transformation and investment into Technology, Operations and Product, we are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Collaboration Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. The Collaboration Technology SME will be responsible for understanding our colleague’s needs, recommending appropriate collaboration solutions, and providing expert guidance throughout the deployment process. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including colleagues, project managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful integration and utilisation of collaboration tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Colleague Consultation: Engage with clients to assess their collaboration needs and understand their business requirements, communication workflows, and pain points.
* Solution Recommendations: Analyze requirements and propose collaboration technology solutions that align with their objectives and foster efficient communication and collaboration.
* Working with outsource provider and partners in infrastructure to ensure environment is managed.
* Technical Expertise: Serve as the primary technical point of contact, possessing in-depth knowledge of various collaboration platforms, such as video conferencing tool, instant messaging systems, virtual meeting software, file-sharing platforms, and team collaboration suites.
* Optimising Our tools. Ensuring O365 environment is configured optimally to leverage capabilities and release roadmaps from Microsoft
* Implementation Support: Collaborate with project managers and technical teams to execute the seamless integration and deployment of collaboration solutions, ensuring they align with the project timeline and adhere to best practices.
* Training and Adoption: Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct workshops to educate end-users on how to utilize collaboration tools effectively, driving adoption and maximizing their potential.
* Troubleshooting and Support: Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing technical issues, and resolving challenges related to collaboration technologies.
* Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date with emerging collaboration technologies and industry trends, incorporating this knowledge into recommendations and strategies for continuous improvement.
* Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of collaboration solutions, identifying areas for enhancement and optimization.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of collaboration technology configurations, processes, and procedures for internal reference and knowledge sharing.
* Best Practices: Advocate for best practices in collaboration technology usage, data security, and compliance to ensure a safe and efficient communication environment. Contribute to CoE/Innovation practices.

ROLE DESCRIPTION
Work within a developing Agile team to deliver Modern Collaboration solutions that will empower Colleagues to do their best work.
The role is geared towards a technical individual and the ideal candidate will have experience delivering collaboration services in a Global organisation.

CAPBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
As part of the Technology Services team, the person will need be able to navigate a complex, relationship driven, environment that is undergoing a period of transformation. The person will need to manage uncertainty and constant change/uncertainty until the structure of the stand alone business is fully established.

* Proven experience as a Collaboration Technology SME or similar role, with a successful track record of implementing and managing collaboration tools in diverse environments.
* Strong knowledge of leading collaboration technologies, such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, or equivalent platforms.
* Familiarity with networking and infrastructure components related to collaboration tools, such as VoIP, SIP, cloud-based services, etc.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
* Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to identify challenges and devise practical solutions to address them.
* Excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
* A customer-centric approach, with a keen focus on understanding and fulfilling clients’ needs.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed decisions.
* Willingness to stay current with industry advancements and emerging collaboration technologies.
