As the Collections Advisor you will be joining a family run and FCA regulated successful business who work with small businesses, banks, and insolvency clients, with the recovery of overdue invoices and fully outsourced credit control.

As the Collections Advisor you will be recovering money on behalf of SME, corporate, lenders and insolvency clients in the most timely, compliant, and efficient manner.

This position is offered on a permanent basis and is 100% remote based, you will be required to travel to Southampton for training, team meetings and events when necessary.

Overview

You will be responsible for providing services in the most timely, compliant, and efficient manner, while meeting personal and team targets and ensuring that the highest levels of quality and efficiency are maintained.

Main accountabilities for the Collections Advisors

• Manage a portfolio of live, current, overdue debit accounts, making 50-80 calls per day


• Resolve queries in a timely and satisfactory manner


• Liaise with clients and provide updates on customer accounts


• Manage own workload to meet business targets and KPIs


• Maintain quality and professionalism at all times


• Facilitate and record escalations to the Collections Manager


• Perform against targets individually whilst contributing to the overall productivity of the team

Skills, attributes, and experience required for the Collections Advisor

• Credit control, collections experience


• Whilst not essential legal collections would be a benefit


• Invoice finance,


• Enthusiasm and dedicated team member


• Good level MS Office skills with a keen eye for detail


• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner


• Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
