Our client, an independent specialist insurance broker, with significant plans for growth over the coming years, is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join their new business team.

Purpose of the role:
To secure new clients through the sale of general insurance policies Develop your reputation internally and externally as a professional, knowledgeable broker Develop and maintain relationships with insurers Skills and experience required:
You would typically have solid experience as an advisor in commercial insurance To have a well–founded understanding of the fundamentals of Insurance, its legal context and the operation of the Insurance marketplace Demonstrable success providing telephone–based advice in sales, as well as in face–to–face meetings Able to manage high volumes of enquiries To maintain consistent conversion rates in quoting and selling to new clients Project a professional and competent image, with an engaging and friendly manner, over the telephone and face to face Strong relationship building, influencing and team building skills Experience maintaining a client–led approach Have Cert CII or be prepared to work towards Cert/Diploma from CII Whilst this is a new business focused position, it should be noted that the majority will be via referrals and warm leads.
