Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 + Commission and Company Car

With a strong reputation for exceptional service and a diverse portfolio of clients, they are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven New Business Development Executive to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving new business growth, specifically focusing on commercial insurance. The position offers a competitive salary, car allowance, and an attractive commission structure. The role is hybrid, requiring you to spend time both in the office and out on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential new business opportunities in the commercial property insurance market, utilizing various lead generation methods including networking, cold calling, referrals, and market research.
- Build and nurture a robust pipeline of prospects, consistently expanding the client base and driving revenue growth.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis and risk assessments for potential clients, understanding their unique requirements and tailoring insurance solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospects, effectively articulating the value proposition and differentiating our offerings from competitors.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including underwriters and account managers, to develop customised insurance programs and ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance professional network and represent the company effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in new business development, preferably within the commercial property insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of insurance products and the ability to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and terms to clients.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships and close deals.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively as required.
- Any relevant industry certifications (e.g., CII, ACII) would be an advantage.
