An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Account Executive to join a progressive West Yorkshire based insurance broker.
Tasked with servicing and developing a varied portfolio of SME commercial clients, typically paying up to £10,000 in premium spend, you will have a keen focus on providing a consistently high level of client service, acting as a first point of technical reference and support, and providing sound technical insurance advice. Whilst there is an expectation that you will develop some new business and utilise opportunities to grow the book through cross-selling and client referrals, the key thrust of this role is ensuring that the existing client portfolio is supported, and existing relationships maintained through regular site visits and contact.
This is a role that would suit someone who takes pride in building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing business through existing sources, as opposed to being overly focussed on consistently chasing new business leads. You will be joining a community based broker that holds on to the traditional, independent values of placing client service at the centre of everything they do.
Required experience:
- Previous experience of operating in a client facing commercial insurance role.
- Possess a sound technical knowledge of the UK broking arena.
- Be client focussed, with a drive to offer a consistently high level of service.
