The Company

Your new Company is an Independent Broker based in Liverpool. They are a team of highly experienced professionals covering a wide variety of the insurance sector. They strive to deliver solutions to their clients making their proactive approach something they pride themselves on.

They now have an exciting position within their Team as a Commercial Account Handler and are seeking an experienced individual to assist with the management of their Clients.

The Role

• Commercial Account Handler - with a good knowledge of Insurance products to include Cross Class Commercial, Professional Indemnity, Commercial Combined, Property, Property Owners & Motor Fleet.
• Dealing with individual business clients as well as medium sized portfolios
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with insurers and customers alike
• Produce correspondence to required timeframes and quality standards
• Issuing and processing new business documents, mid-term adjustments, cancellations and renewals
• Where necessary, produce and maintain spreadsheets, bordereaux and databases to enhance data presentation, analysis, and storage

The ideal individual will have

• 2 years experience in working for an Insurance Broker
• Actuaris would be preferred but not essential
• A good understanding of Commercial insurance products.
• Have the ability to efficiently manage a varied workload, whilst working towards strict deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and a keen interest in business
