Your new job as a Commercial Account handler will be working for an established, independent Brokers with offices based in Watford and the heart of the City with modernised offices and facilities. Your new Brokers specialise in handling corporate insurance broking services for companies and organisations who seek knowledgeable and expert board level partnerships with their clients who are based throughout the UK. They offer support, professionalism and expertise being in the market for many years. They provide a comprehensive range of insurance to a broad cross-section of commercial and personal clients alike. Due to the growth within their Watford division a new position as a Commercial Account Handler has arisen
Your new role
Your new role working as a Commercial Account Handler handling Corporate business means you will be responsible for personally taking responsibility for managing the support to a portfolio of upper mid-market clients including multinational exposures, complex liability, technology and property profiles. Dealing with clients from inception to completion working alongside Account Executives and Directors. Other duties will include processing insurance documentation and provide an unparalleled high levels of service. You will be a solid member of the team, working directly with Directors, account executives, and other handlers, as well as being a reference point to more junior staff and assisting with their continued development.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial Account Handler handling SME or Mid to large Corporate Commercial Risks will contribute to your success in securing this role and be able to travel to Watford ( Hybrid working) . You will have a good understanding of all commercial classes of insurance, and a knowledge of, or willingness to learn fast, about technology, energy and multinational insurance arrangements, as well as, practical experience of the role of a broker. Ideally, you will be Dip CII and above or have Cert CII status as a minimum. You will have good presentation, communication both written and spoken skills with high accuracy and attention to detail. In addition, you will be comfortable working with C-suite level clients, CFOs and Legal Counsels and be able to work well under pressure. You will ideally have experience using broking systems (Preferably Acturis)
