CPL are currently working closely with one of Europes leading FMCG companies, as they seek to recruit an experienced, Commercially focused Account Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

As a Commercial Account Manager you will play a key role in building relationships, growing sales, supporting planning and forecasting, and identifying profitable trading opportunities to drive growth.

Roles & Responsibilities;

• Responsible for effectively managing customer accounts
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers
• Establish and nurture relationships to drive sales growth
• Assist with planning and forecasting, engaging with all commercial aspects
• Drive business development through profitable trading opportunities and contribute to significant growth
• Create and implement Business Plans for key customers
• Attend client meetings & deliver sales presentations as needed
• Prepare & present various reports
• Stay informed about company products, processes, and industry trends
• Support and mentor the sales team

What we are looking for;

• Strong commercial and business acumen
• Proven experience in trading FMCG with multiple retailers
• Background in a food manufacturing setting
• Educated to at least A Level or equivalent, with a relevant tertiary qualification being a plus
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Exceptional people management skills, adept at prioritising workload, working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Experience in engaging with both internal and external stakeholders to complete projects and business briefs
• Flexible and willing to travel on short notice
• Access to transport, as travel to customer and company sites is a key aspect of the role.
