This agency is currently seeking a motivated individual to join their Commercial Finance Department in a pivotal role. As a Commercial Accountant, you will play a key part in maximising the agency's revenue and profitability, working closely with account and project management teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong relationships with account teams, gaining a deep understanding of client accounts.
- Ensure contractual agreements and approvals are in place, while actively interrogating forecasts.
- Conduct revenue forecasting for assigned clients, identifying and addressing potential risks.
- Collate documentation for revenue recognition and ensure adherence to established methodologies.
- Reconcile Fee Forecast to the accounting system and take ownership of accrued and deferred income reconciliation.
- Manage intercompany agreements and invoicing with billing teams and other group companies.
- Review aging WIP balances, collaborating with billing and account teams for resolution.
- Monitor client profitability, promptly flagging issues to the client team.
About You:
- Experience in an advertising or Creative Agency is desirable
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with finance and non-finance personnel.
- Confidence in engaging with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for manipulating and reviewing data.
- Positive approach to problem-solving and a proactive attitude.
