An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Cumberland as a Commercial Administration Associate, supporting our business customers in Commercial and working within the Commercial Team at an exciting time for The Society.
The Role
In this role you will:
- Deal with the on-boarding of new to Society Commercial customers, support existing Commercial customers and deal with general administration.
- Provide support to the Senior Commercial Managers, Commercial Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers.
- Assist with the provision of excellent service to all Commercial customers.
- Aware of and manage the risks in the account opening and general administration process.
- Support the growth and returns in a sustainable manner.
- Work in a collaborative manner alongside colleagues within Commercial and the wider Society.
About you
In order to thrive in this fast-paced team, you’ll possess:
- The ability to work to deadlines, working as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Experience of IT based systems, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience
- Likely to have experience of retail, business, or commercial banking.
- Good experience of quality service provision for retail, business, or commercial customers.
- Evidence of performance delivery in safe and sustainable manner.
- Knowledge of risk and regulatory controls required in management of business or commercial customers.
- Experience of working collaboratively across teams internally and externally.
- Strong desire to develop and grow a career in commercial banking.
- Ability to meet SLA’s.
Location
Our aim is to keep the great balance we have achieved recently with hybrid working. Due to the expectations of the role, the successful candidate would therefore be willing to occasionally work from our Head Office in Carlisle.
