Atkins Search are working with a successful civil engineering contractor based in Nottinghamshire to bring a Commercial Assistant into the business.
Client
Our client is a specialist residential groundworks contractor who have experience sustained growth, and due to new site wins they are needing a Commercial Assistant to provide crucial assistance to the commercial team.
Role
As a Commercial Assistant you will be working closely with Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers within the business, offering a vital level of administrative support to them for various projects.
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Assistant the following will be expected of you –
- Work closely with Commercial Managers and Quantity Surveyors.
- Create and send out weekly plant reports.
- Allocate invoices to Quantity Surveyors for payment.
- Stay up to date with health and safety documentation for projects.
- Carry out general administrative support as required.
Person
A successful Commercial Assistant will be able to show the following traits –
- Excellent communicator at all levels.
- Background of working as a Commercial Assistant, or ability to show an understanding of the commercial function of a civil engineering contractor.
- Organised individual.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- IT literate with good knowledge of MS Office.
Remuneration
£23,000-£27,000 depending on experience plus a comprehensive benefits package.
