This role will offer an exciting opportunity to join a focused Sales Co-Ordination team, working together to achieve the best results in the delivery of our operational and business targets.
The role’s key responsibilities are:
- Provide quotations to clients for specific shipments using current tariffs and guidelines that have been put in place.
- Provide quotations to prospects and follow up in support of our Sales team which include our Business Development and Client Relationship Managers.
- Manage any rate issues that arise and provide updates to our clients through the company systems.
- Prepare and provide quotations to origin partners in accordance with tariffs and guidelines.
- Liaise with origin partners to arrange shipment bookings based on carriers and contracts that adhere to our clients’ requirements.
- Manage client shipment and booking authorizations.
- Liaise with our clients, updating them on regular shipment, any schedule changes and market updates.
- Produce statistical reports to both internally and for customer specific reports.
- Produce a manual shipment report as required.
- Effectively communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve problems that arise.
- Provide support to our Sales team and managers.
- A requirement to visit Clients with Sales teams to enhance relationships where required.
- Managing the shared inbox and providing support and escalating appropriately where necessary.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in a similar role will be required, knowledge on Cargowise operating system is desirable. You will have strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, be a team player with a flexible attitude in order to respond at speed to changing priorities. You will be a great communicator and work naturally with people at all levels. In working as part of this great team, you will continuously evolve the services offered and enhance the journey with EV Cargo.
Full Driving Licence required.
