Our client are expertise in the design and manufacturing of manned and unmanned underwater vehicles, particularly submarines. They specialise in providing solutions for defence, research, commercial surveys, and recreational purposes. They are on the lookout for a highly skilled Commercial Contracts Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and analyse project data.
• Monitor performance and promptly notify of any deviations from project plans.
• Participate in regular progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders, necessitating effective presentation skills.
• Create and deliver monthly reports to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Revise monthly project plans as needed.
• Responsible for the reporting cycle.
• Develop forecasts and plans for each project.
• Offer guidance to project teams regarding contractual obligations.
• Maintain a record of approved suppliers.
• Create cash flow profiles for individual projects.
• Supervise milestone payment plans and collaborate with the Finance department to initiate invoicing.
• Assemble documentation and take part in client project evaluations.
• Compile documentation and participate in project reviews with clients.

Skills & Experience

• Adept in using Microsoft Office programmes, especially Project and Excel.
• Experience working in an engineering environment.
• Proficient in a commercial capacity.
• Previously responsibility for budget management.
• A background in a Project Management Office.
• Prior involvement in the Defence sector.
• Technical Degree/equivalent qualification with relevant experience
