Building Services Engineer - Commercial Gas

Due to continued growth and the acquisition of some new contracts, Alba Facilities Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, permanent, time served Building Services Engineer (Commercial Gas) to join our mobile engineering team based in Glasgow and be part of our4 day work week trial - work 4 days (34 hrs), paid for 5 (40 hrs).

Reporting to the Building Services Supervisor you will be responsible for the installation, repairs, service and maintenance of all aspects of gas and heating systems in our clients' premises to agreed standards and specifications.

What will you do?

• Attend planned maintenance, quoted jobs and reactive calls
• Complete detailed job reports and compliance certifications
• Raise accurate, realistic quotes as required
• Be part of an on-call rota (approx 1 in 7)
• Provide excellent customer service
• Liaise effectively with the Helpdesk, line manager and wider engineering team

What skills, experience and qualifications will you have?

• Time served Building Services Engineer: SVQ Level 3 in Service, Maintain and Commission Building Engineering Services
• Qualified to ACS Gas Commercial (essential)
• Proven ability in maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Experience in installation / replacement (desirable)
• Testing & Purging/LPG;OFTEC;PASMA; IPAF; CSCS (desirable)
• Working in high end client environment with regular face to face engagement with building managers would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence
• Demonstrable organisational skills
