SalaryOur client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems in commercial buildings. From routine inspections to complex installations, the Commercial Gas Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and functionality of gas infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair Commercial Gas systems, including boilers, heaters, and pipework.
- Conduct safety checks and tests on gas appliances and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with gas systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to schedule and complete service requests in a timely manner.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service records.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in Commercial Gas Engineering.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and expertise.
Requirements:
- Gas Safe registered engineer with relevant qualifications and certifications.
- Proven experience in Commercial Gas Engineering, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Thorough knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing gas-related technical issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
