Commercial Gas Maintenance Engineer
Up to £40k per annum, van & excellent package
Our client is a leading Building Services projects and maintenance specialist delivering PPM, reactive and projects work across the North-West. Due to contract wins and organic growth they now require a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team.
About the role:
They are looking for someone who can maintain the boiler/combustion services within plant rooms and general building services on commercial projects across sites including Schools, Health Care and Industrial all within the North-West.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- To ensure adherence to best practices for all maintenance (planned and reactive) contracts.
- To meet and exceed the expectations of the clients, and associated service level agreements, ensuring that all work orders are completed and closed in full compliance with SLAs agreements.
- Identify new works e.g. small projects to ensure continual improvement and operational.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained.
Qualifications required include:
- CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety
- CENWAT - Central heating boilers and instantaneous water heaters
- MET1 - Domestic gas meters up to 6m³
- CPA1 - Combustion performance analysis
- HTR1 - Domestic open, balanced & fan flue gas fires & wall heater
- COCN1 - Core Commercial Gas safety or CODNCO1 - Changeover gas safety from domestic natural gas to commercial natural gas
- ICPN1 - Installation of the first fix of commercial pipework
- CIGA1 - Commission, service, repair & breakdown of commercial indirect-fired heating appliances & equipment
- CDGA1 - Commission, service direct-fired heaters
