Commercial Lawyer - Reading Contract Basis

We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer to join our client's Commercial & Technology Team located in Reading. Additionally, they currently offer a hybrid working model so the ideal candidate will be able to commute to the Reading office.

Responsibilities include managing a range of commercial matters, such as international commercial contracts, technology contracts (including SaaS agreements, website and app development, and hosting agreements), digital media, ecommerce, marketing, advertising, sponsorship, data protection, data licensing, intellectual property management, and advising on strategic business projects like operations structuring, investment planning, and international expansion.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent training and knowledge across a broad spectrum of commercial issues, including contract law, data protection, intellectual property, and competition law. Strong drafting skills, experience in contractual risk assessment, negotiation, and a keen interest in digital media, data, and technology are advantageous.

The successful candidate should demonstrate a proactive approach to business development, client relationship building, commercial awareness, and adaptability to shifting client priorities while working collaboratively within a team, even in a remote setting.
