Join their stellar team and make a significant impact in the legal landscape.Medlock Partners are thrilled to be leading on a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Solicitor (NQ-2 PQE) to become an integral part of the Manchester Commercial Litigation team. Working directly with a team of Partners, and contributing to a diverse range of high-profile cases, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role within their dynamic team.Key Responsibilities: Showcase an in-depth understanding of legal principles and court procedures, particularly in Commercial Litigation. Exhibit a genuine interest in Public Law, with desirable experience in this area. Demonstrate practical experience in high court litigation, including pleadings, hearings, disclosure, and witness statement preparation. Possess confident client handling skills, representing national organizations, business clients, and high-profile individuals. Manage time efficiently, recording, billing, and recovering costs and disbursements. The successful candidate will work directly with the Partners in the team on the most interesting, high-profile, and intellectually stimulating matters of national importance. The ideal applicant will have a strong academic background and gone on to gain practical litigation experience gained at a national firm. Technical proficiency with a commercial mindset. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills with an aptitude for business development.This role comes with real scope for progression and further professional development. You will benefit working alongside industry leaders as well as receive 25 days annual leave, office closure between Xmas and NY.
