Commercial Manager

We require Regional Commercial Managers Around South West.

Within this position, you will be expected to travel to locations within your Region.

Role and Purpose:

Reporting to the Commercial Business Manager, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for driving the revenue performance at NCP’s car parks within their allocated territories. The successful candidate will use internal resources to devise and execute commercial activities and tactics to maximize revenue and performance. This position requires careful P&L management, leveraging national partnerships and partnerships with local businesses, and continuous monitoring of local competitor activities to improve product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include but won’t be limited to:
• Devise commercial activities to drive revenue performance across their sites
• Local advertising and field marketing activity to drive traffic to sites
• Use digital deals, value-added services, and partnerships to achieve car park tariffs and revenue targets
• Create annual plans for each car park with digital objectives
• Identify and onboard new sites into their territory and ensure revenue targets are met
• Monitor local competitor activity and use it to develop appropriate strategies for revenue growth
• Maintain a consistent record of cross-functional collaboration with sales teams.

Experience and Skills:

• End-to-end sales experience and/or multi-site commercial/retail experience
• Developing new and existing business relationships with clients and customers
• Strong financial/commercial acumen and understanding of P&L process
• Experience in pricing models and multi-site revenue generation
• Exceptional analytical and negotiating skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels
• An effective communicator with the ability to articulate financial complexity to influence stakeholders at all levels
• A collaborator with cross-functional abilities
• An able multitasker to manage different sites and responsibilities
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
• Commitment to personal growth, resilience, accountability, and integrity.

Salary:

The salary for the Commercial Manager’s position is £45,000, with a car allowance of £5,000.
