SalaryFalcon Green have partnered with an international tier 1 contractor that specialises in the delivery of modern-day mission critical and data centre infrastructure across Ireland, the UK and Europe, in their search for a Commercial Manager to join their Pharma division. After the successful acquisition of several Life Sciences projects in Ireland and mainland Europe, they are now expanding their commercial team and require someone confident in leading several €100m+ projects at once.
In terms of experience, someone coming from a data centre background is advantageous however not a necessity. Project delivery ability, proven track record, commercial awareness and people management ability is key.
You will be working for a market leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practises. With the order book full for several years in Central Europe, there is excellent scope for a credible Commercial Lead to step into a Business Unit Lead role after proving their worth.
This role can be based in Ireland, the UK or mainland Europe but the successful candidate must be flexible to travel freely to any destination above.
Key Responsibilities:
- Point of contact for any commercial issues
- Management of procurement
- Oversee all subcontract accounts
- Foresight on any potential issues or risks
- Turnover and cash flow forecasting
- Ensure project is delivered commercially in line with group policies
- Chair meetings with client and senior management
Requirements:
- Relevant 3rd level commercial qualifications
- 5+ years in a Senior or lead role
- Data centre contractor or main contractor experience desirable
- EU Right to Work ESSENTIAL
