We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a family owned Civil Engineering business in the M4 Corridor just outside of London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company working with a diverse range of projects.
The primary purpose of the role is to manage commercial aspects of projects. This includes, but is not limited to, working with RC Frames, Earthworks, Drainage and NEC Contracts.
You will also be responsible for the management of Variations, CVR's and dealing with Tier 1 Contractors.
 Develop and implement sourcing strategies to procure capital equipment, working alongside design and delivery stakeholders to identify requirements. • Manage effective procurement, utilisation and contract execution of equipment.
• Drive, control and communicate procurement strategies throughout internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and co-operation.
• Profile and research supply markets and suppliers to assess trends, opportunities and risks.
• Establish, monitor and improve supplier relationships and supply chain performance.
The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of Construction and Civil Engineering, as well as excellent working with Budgets and Forecasts.
You must also have relevant qualifications and experience in a similar role.
