Salary : £65,000 - £70,000, plus car or car allowance
Executive Network Group have been retained with a leading utilities business, who are seeking a Commercial Manager, with a strong work history in project management to join the team, following an internal promotion.
Reporting to Head of Commercial, this role will be responsible for; the development and implementation of commercial controls, delivering the business outcomes for the sector, in terms of commercial, financial, regulatory and compliance performance measures.
What you’ll get to work on:
- Supporting the development and maintenance of project delivery plans. Drive delivery to meet projected outcomes whilst managing risks, dependencies, and constraints. Escalate as appropriate.
- Preparing and communicating consolidated status reports to the relevant governance and wider stakeholders, including, milestone progress, risk management, financial reporting (if applicable) and change requests.
- Developing and embedding effective sustaining measures to ensure successful delivery of the business benefits associated with each project.
- Ensuring activities are successfully delivered and managed within budget.
- Utilising accurate data to drive initiatives to improve performance.
- Designing, driving, and ensuring delivery to key improvement initiatives, championing knowledge share and continual improvement throughout.
- Managing, developing, and engaging teams to deliver objectives compliantly.
- Thinking strategically and having strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- A great communicator and effective collaborator with strong influencing skills.
- Identifying, analysing, and interpreting relevant data to drive departmental direction aligning to wider strategies.
- Creating improved working practices through identifying transformational department needs, collaborating with wider organisational initiatives.
- Solving complex issues using multiple tools and techniques.
- Managing multiple demands/projects and delivering to deadlines.
