The role of the Commercial Property Solicitor is an integral part of the Commercial property team, and you will be able to advise on a wide range of property matters including but not limited to:
- Provide legal advice and assistance to existing clients, whilst developing and establishing new clients
- Preparation and drafting of all documents in relation to property matters
- See a matter from the opening of a file to closure of a file
- Work independently and confidentiality
- Follow up new leads
- Contribute to the marketing of the Legal Services Team
- Manage cases at a level of complexity appropriate to your level and experience and give guidance to others in the team
- Handle commercial and residential property transactions from the initial client contact through to completion, such as sale and purchase of commercial/residential freehold and leasehold premises, landlord and tenant matters, acquisition and sale of property for development, and acting for pension schemes, trusts, and companies
- Provide outstanding client care at all times
- Manage cases to a high standard and in accordance with SRA requirements and the Law Society protocol
The ideal candidate for the role of Commercial Property Solicitor
- Qualified solicitor
- Experience in working as a solicitor in a corporate law firm, with 3+ years PQE
- 2:1 degree as a minimum, preferably in law, having also completed the Legal Practice course
- Proven and hands on experience working as a Property Solicitor covering mainly corporate client's as well as private
- Hybrid experience of Commercial/Residential will also be highly considered
Travel will be required to clients and other offices within the East Midlands region.
