You will be underwriting profitable renewals and new business on a day-to-day basis and assisting a brokers with the smooth running of existing policies.Duties:-* Pro-actively managing renewals & new business quotes for a property/Real Estate book.* Underwriting residential and commercial property/Real Estate risks within guidelines.* Liaising with key stakeholders both internally and externally.* Ensuring all documentations and systems are kept up to date and provided to supporting brokers in a timely manner.* Actively engaging with brokers to ensure the company is their first port of call on new business enquiries.* Ensuring SLA’s are met and timely issuance of documentation.Full funding available for any relevant professional qualifications taken and ongoing personal development.Requirements:-* You will have 3 years’ experience successfully underwriting a mixed property portfolio with exposure to both commercial and residential Real Estate/property owners’ risks.* A varied skill set that includes strong communication (both written and verbal), negotiation, analytical and IT skills.* Previous experience within an MGA or commercial insurance underwriting role desirable
