Commercial Risk & Data Manager

What you will enjoy doing

• This is a great opportunity to join our revenue team, giving you the opportunity to collaborate across the business, take ownership of processes and influence others
• A key part of this role will focus on reporting and analysis, which includes reporting on frequent collections, payment risks, credit reporting, prediction reports and any adhoc reporting and analysis which may be required
• You will ensure there is visibility of daily performance against cash collection and customer interactions to measure individual and team performance
• In addition, you will manage and audit the billing process and the relationship with our external print provider ensuring accurate and timely invoicing/mail shots to our customers
• You will get the opportunity to present new ideas and implement continuous improvements by making our legacy processes simpler and digital
• Maintain customer credit limits for all 170k accounts in our books on a quarterly basis and be responsible for updating credit risk scores into our system (SAP)
• And lastly, you have a keen interest in keeping up to date with external business insights, and as part of this role, you will monitor business news for breaking stories on financial issues and topics

• In addition, you are highly analytical and have excellent reporting capabilities using systems such as Excel, Business Objects, Winshuttle, Power BI, Tableau
• You have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence and inspire internal and external customers at all levels
• Have an understanding of debt/revenue management processes and objectives
• As somebody who is self-motivated, you are willing to ask questions and challenge the status quo
• You have effective time management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise your workload, often to tight deadlines
• Furthermore, you have previous revenue management and/or query experience would be advantageous
• Good knowledge of systems such as SAP and Salesforce would be an advantage, but not essential as we would provide training
• Commercial experience, gained in a business-to-business environment is preferable but not essential for this role
