Our client a global, leading Freight Forwarder is looking for an experienced Commerical Support Executive to join their team in Tamworth.
This is a permanent opportunity working 5 days in the office to begin with, moving to a hybrid role, upon successful passing of probation. At this time, you would have the flexibility to work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Duties and responsibilities of a Commercial Support Executive:
- Sourcing and qualifying leads and making initial contact(s) with the customer.
- Direct management and correspondence with sales teams and clients.
- Monitoring customer accounts.
- Completing spot quotes and tariffs.
- Support and take part in Request for tender (RFQ) /tenders.
- Measuring spot quote success.
- Responsible for dealing with enquiries (phone and email).
- Providing data and reports to analyse sales performance.
- Be aware of individual sales targets.
- Investigate new supplier options for differing modes and lanes.
- Responsibility over marketing engagement and CRM management.
- Collaboration with product and procurement teams to support core services and trade lanes are explored.
The successful candidate:
- Will have exposure to Cargowise and be a proficient user in Microsoft Dynamics
- Subject matter expert in the Freight Industry
- Will have a strong desire to succeed and win business.
- Will have a "can do" attitude.
