specialist vehicles for the country’s leading customers and beyond.

It is due to their continuing expansion that they are looking for an enthusiastic Mechanical/Design Engineers with a minimum of 4 years of experience who want to take the next step in their career and further progress up the ladder.

In this role the successful candidate will work as part of a team to produce designs for the in-house manufacturing plant. This role will require you to have a Mechanical/design knowledge as well as experience in using CAD software. You will be given full product training to ensure you are familiar with the range of unique products

The Role:

• Working as part of an expanding team
• Working on a range of light to heavy duty Commercial Vehicle projects
• Identifying customer requirements/ specifications, reproducing these into concept designs
• Design of assemblies in 2D/3D ranging from full assembly down to individual parts
• Creation of BOM
• Liaising with the production on day-to-day basis
• Full product cycle experience from design through to manufacturing

The Person:

• Experienced with AUTOCAD 2D and INVENTOR 3D package.
• Will be able to create 2D and 3D drawings.
• Experienced in designing light/medium sheet metal parts.
• Experienced in designing machined parts.
• Experienced in the design of light to heavy metal fabrications.
• Self-motivated, ideally from a small team background
• Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge (not essential)
• Experienced in compiling bills of Materials and liaising with the procurement department.
• 'Right first time' approach in his work
• Computer literate (excel, word, power-point)
