Are you an ambitious Commercial Vehicle / Plant Engineer looking to work a varied position within a small workshop that offers great opportunities to develop personally and professionally as well as take advantage of a generous overtime scheme.
This company was established over half a century ago, carrying out servicing, repairs and tests for a variety of Commercial Vehicles including vans, HGV's, single trucks and Horsebox's. The workshop has become a uniquely busy environment despite the team being that of 8 individuals. They have been growing at a good rate and are currently expanding their workshop.
In this role, you will be expected to service, repair and test a variety of Commercial Vehicles up to 44 tonne HGV's. Whilst basic experience is essential, a successful candidate should also be looking to learn. This is a varied role where all knowledge can be trained on the job, as long as a fundamental understanding of such vehicles listed above is met.
The role would suit either an experienced individual or an individual from a car or Plant Engineering background who is looking to further their career within the motor vehicle industry.
The Role:
- Diagnose issues, offer consultation and repair a mix of Commercial Vehicles and HGV's.
- Implement and work to health and safety regulations.
- React to call outs to support clients on the road.
- Monday to Friday (10-8)
- Saturday at 1.5 x Rate and Sundays 2 x Rate
The Person:
- Experience in varied vehicle maintenance.
