Hours:           37 per week

Salary:           £51,581 per annum, including car allowance.

About the role:

• We’re looking for an exceptional, talented individual who is results driven with the right skills, qualities and proven track record to achieve the positive outcomes our customers deserve. 
• You will lead the delivery, day to day management and control of the ‘Client’ Property service, embedding commercialism, continuous improvement and customer involvement at its core, supporting and enabling the delivery of the aims and objectives of the Corporate and Asset Management strategies.
• You’ll lead, inspire and engage people to fulfil their potential and enjoy being part of Bernicia’s shared vision.
• Seek out opportunities to continuously improve services to meet challenging targets, help take us to the next level of delivering a great customer experience and be at the forefront of working with local and regional partners and stakeholders.

About you:

You’ll need:

• Chartered Status or Degree or significant demonstrable and relevant experience at a similar level (all in a relevant and related discipline).
• A strong and proven track record of leading the day-to-day delivery of client construction technical services, including procurement, project management, contract administration, and management/control of large budgets (within the Construction sector)
• Demonstrable experience of managing the day-to-day activities of a customer facing property team, embedding commercialism, continuous improvement and customer involvement at its core.
• Experience of the day-to-day management of construction professionals (in relevant disciplines) and successfully delivering the required outcomes in a performance driven culture.
• Ability to interpret and analyse complex data and information (financial and stock condition), making clear decisions/ recommendations to ensure delivery of the asset management strategy and strategic corporate objectives.
• Knowledge and understanding of the current and emerging key regulatory requirements within the housing and construction sectors, including a comprehensive knowledge of current and future challenges in the field of construction and relevant related legislation.
