Commis Chef

Award Winning Food Creations are looking for a New Commis Chef to join our upcoming team of staff at our Brand New Venue Uphall Golf Club starting in Mid August. At the new clubhouse we will be implementing a High end Menu to our new restaurant which we expect to be a busy fast paced environment. The candidate will work on a 4 Day on, 3 Day off Rotation. The candidate will also recieve Weekly Cash Tips and get 20% off at our other restuarant(Uphall Golf Club, Bathgate Golf Club, Hopetoun bar and Bistro)

Overview:
As a Commis, you will work closely with our culinary team to assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of culinary excellence. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation under the guidance of our Head Chef
- Help in cooking and presenting dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Being responsible for a work station in food preparation and execution
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Strong attention to detail and passion for food preparation
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
