Commis Waiter/Waitress

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your primary goal will be to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere while delivering prompt and efficient service.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase revenue
- Provide exceptional hospitality by anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, floors, and service stations
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately

Skills:
- Strong hospitality skills with a genuine desire to provide exceptional guest services
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests, kitchen staff, and fellow team members
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and culinary terminology

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £7.93-£12.33 per hour

Experience:

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
