You will be joining a national leader in the energy management solutions industry. You will be part of the transformers part of the business with a focus on carrying out repairs, installation maintenance and more both on site in the Loughborough, based factory as well on customer sites.
If you are an experienced Commissioning Engineer who is looking for the next step in their career and would like to work in the energy industry, then this could be a great role for you.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Commissioning, repair, and maintenance of the companies' full range of switchgear products.
- Test and commission switchgear up to 33/36kV
- Fault diagnosis of switchgear and related equipment
- Prepare method statements and technical requirements.
- File job documents and reports as per required.
This is just a summed-up list of responsibility and other duties will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
- 4 years' experience in a commissioning-based role for electrical products.
- Minimum HNC in a relevant Electrical Engineering discipline
- Experience in preparing method statements and technical requirements.
- Experience of electrical fault-finding.
- Experience representing a company on site and off site.
