Commissioning Manager

West Lakes Recruit are currently seeking to identify a talented Commissioning Manager for an immediate mobilization to one of our Clients projects in the South of England.
Job Description:

• The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Commissioning phase of a large Project from the concept design through to handover to the client at the end of Inactive Commissioning.
• Compiles the project commissioning strategy, defines scope and owns the commissioning plan
• Ensures all commissioning arrangements are in place and conform to Site License conditions through the commissioning preparation and execution phases
• Manages the preparation and execution of the arrangements for controlling, witnessing, recording and assessing the results of commissioning tests for both IPC and ISC ensuring that all commissioning activities are recorded and managed via the project completions management system

The Suitable Candidate will:

• 10 years commissioning experience, with experience in a similar managerial role for either the nuclear industry or another highly regulated industry
• Experience with completions management systems
• Preferred degree or HNC/HND in Engineering related subject
• Project management knowledge, preferably APM member.
