Job Description
Working for the end client you will responsible for Project Managing the Commissioning process of a major gigafactory construction project from initial design phase through to final handover.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement commissioning strategies and plans for a major gigafactory project.
- Oversee the entire commissioning process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and lead a team of commissioning engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project delays and budget overruns
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify the functionality and performance of commissioned systems.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design and construction, to optimise project outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to commissioning activities, including reports, test results, and technical specifications.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager in large-scale construction projects, with a focus on high-profile developments from initial design phase.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.In-depth knowledge of construction commissioning processes, systems, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools and technologies.
- Professional certifications in commissioning or project management are highly desirable
