Renowned brokerage firm seeks seasoned Sales Traders to join a rapidly expanding enterprise specializing in delivering energy hedging solutions to UK corporations. We are on the lookout for candidates who can cultivate and oversee portfolios of Mid Cap and Large Cap enterprises, many of which are venturing into financial hedges for the first time.

The ideal candidates sent of the execution process should possess robust technical prowess encompassing:

• Efficient management
• Proficiency in option pricing principles
• Comprehensive grasp of corporate risk management and treasury policies, preferably concerning Mid Cap UK clientele
• Sound familiarity with suitability and appropriateness considerations
• A functional understanding of the pertinent regulatory framework

The core responsibility involves converting promising leads generated through our sales and marketing avenues. On a day-to-day basis, the role entails supervising customer interactions and orchestrating the execution of energy hedging products - with a significant emphasis on customer education. Regular coordination with sales, marketing, operations (onboarding and credit), and upper management will also constitute a substantial component of this role.

Candidates must possess:

• Proficiency in option-based hedging solutions
• Experience in executing derivatives
• Competence in credit/margin handling
• 3-5 years of experience in financial market sales/trading
• CF30 qualification

We are open to considering candidates with experience in selling FX options within this domain, as well as those who have operated within banking and have a track record of selling to larger corporate clients. Familiarity with the intricate landscape of energy commodities is naturally expected.
