Job description

Communications & Digital Marketing Officer- GBP26,500 - GBP29,000 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)

Hours 37 hours per week, hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days a week in the office. Weekend and evenings as required for events.

Location AG Palmer House, Littlemore, Oxford

What You ll Be Doing:

Response are recruiting 2 passionate and innovative Communications & Digital Marketing Officers who will be responsible for implementing, delivering and maintaining communication and Digital Marketing strategies for Response. This exciting opportunity involves a combination of traditional communication methods and Digital Marketing techniques to promote the organisation's brand, services and impact to a range of stakeholders, including people who may need to access our services, commissioners and potential donors. We are eager to welcome enthusiastic, creative thinkers into our friendly dedicated team.

  • Developing Communication Strategies - Enhancing the organisations image and brand awareness whilst identifying target audiences and tailoring messages to engage them. Finding creative ways to demonstrate the organisations impact.
  • Digital Marketing Campaigns planning and executing across various online platforms by utilising social media, email & content marketing plus other channels. Identifying and supporting digital fundraising opportunities and taking the lead in ensuring a digital first approach is instilled at Response.
  • Content Creation Developing high quality content (in line with search engine optimisation and best practice) for various platforms and maintaining brand assets. Developing accessible toolkits and resources and effectively maintaining the Response website.
  • Social Media Management Enhancing presence, monitoring trends to engage and build brand loyalty, and ensuring comments are responded to and queries are correctly triaged.
  • Public Relations Build and maintain positive relationships and handle medial/press enquiries.
  • Analytics and Reporting Monitor and analyse the performance of digital activity and report on KPI s.
  • Collaboration Work in partnership with internal teams to promote consistent messages and coordinate a support network of communication and engagement champions across the organisation. Assist with the preparation and delivery of fundraising events.

The Successful Applicant:

  • A level or qualified by experience.
  • Understanding of the influence of social media, website and other digital activity to garner support and influence. Understand which platforms align with our target audiences
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
  • Proficiency in Digital Marketing strategies, tools, and platforms.
  • Familiarity with pay per click, search engine optimisation, email marketing best practices and other online marketing techniques.
  • Experience in producing digital communications campaigns
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Understanding of communications, public relations, and marketing best practices. Willingness to adapt to evolving Digital Marketing trends and industry changes.
