Job description

On is hiring a Communications Lead to build and lead On's Internal Communications strategy and support the External Corporate Communications strategy in the Americas, with a larger focus on the United States (U.S.). You will play a critical role in enhancing our corporate reputation and building our corporate narrative. You will create compelling written and visual content that engages and informs our team members across the Americas and inspires external audiences like media and investors.
Your Mission
- Create and lead the Internal Communications strategy in the U.S., including a channel strategy and spokesperson strategy
- Support the External Corporate Communications strategy in the U.S., including briefing book development and coverage reporting, and occasionally lead projects based on team needs and company priorities
- Write engaging internal and external content, including company-wide emails, executive talking points and press releases, with the ability to adapt your writing style based on the channel and spokesperson
- Brief-in and oversee external agencies and partners to create compelling visual content that complements our storytelling
- Serve as a key partner with teams including Internal Communications, Workplace Experience, and Diversity, Inclusion & Social Impact to ensure global and U.S. alignment, identify communications needs and implement support
Your Story
- 5+ years of experience in communications
- Experience leading Internal Communications programs and disseminating complex information in a way that informs, engages and inspires employees
- Experience supporting External Corporate Communications (media relations, building media briefs, creating external-facing messages, etc.)
- Experience communicating around topics including diversity & inclusion, change management and societal issues. Bonus if you have experience supporting Inclusion Resource Groups.
- Experience supporting senior leaders as a thought partner, able to effectively influence as it relates to communications
- Exceptional writing and grammar skills with meticulous attention to detail
