Day to Day you'll be:
- Responsible for the evolution and day-to-day implementation of our charity’s social media strategy. Creating, sharing and scheduling all social media activity and weekly reporting on our channels.
- Delivering our digital plan to ensure that we have an active, targeted and high-quality online presence including email marketing campaigns and PPC campaigns. Conducting keyword research and analysing SEO data to optimise content for search engine performance.
- Supporting the continued development of the Community Integrated Care website, acting as gatekeeper and ensuring that it is kept up to date, generating and publishing content, and monitoring website analytics to drive engagement and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Writing creative and compelling messaging and content for digital communications channels and campaigns (including website content, news items, corporate communications, leaflets and blog posts). Working directly with content owners across the charity to create relevant copy for digital channels.
- Creating a range of multi-media content for various external channels, including photography, video, infographics and social media templates.
- Coordinating the production of the charity’s external newsletter and managing our CRM system, HubSpot.
- Out and about visiting our services, meeting our colleagues and people supported, and having the opportunity to attend a range of exciting events.
- Providing expert tech support to the wider Communications team, reviewing existing platforms and helping to identify new solutions, as our go-to digital expert.
- Keeping up to date with emerging industry trends, innovations and technologies, such as AI tools, and adopting best practices in digital marketing (including web accessibility and usability) and sharing these insights with key stakeholders and within the team.
Benefits
Our Ideal Candidate Qualifications Professional or higher qualification in communications, marketing, digital marketing or other relevant areas - experience without qualifications will be considered. Experience Previous experience in a digital communications role, ideally within a large organisation or digital agency. A proven track record in digital marketing encompassing SEO, social media marketing, PPC campaigns and content creation. If you have a real skill and passion in digital marketing – this role could be for you! Experience of creating and managing social media channels and content creation. Demonstrably up to date with emerging digital trends and an interest in online community building. Experience using social and digital reporting tools, such as Google Analytics, HotJar and Facebook Business Manager. Experience of maintaining a website and being a gatekeeper of content, specifically on WordPress sites. Skills and Knowledge Strong understanding of social media and digital channels. Ability to work flexibly, in a fast-paced and varied way - you’ll be able to attend events and our services and have the ability to turn around engaging content quickly! Understanding of the marketing mix and content marketing. Appreciation of what makes a great story and how to tell this in the most interesting way. Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices. Knowledge in Canva, Adobe Photoshop and video-production software.
