MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Provide expertise in a specific marketing discipline (media, operations, agency
management, digital, event management etc.). Plan, execute and steward specific marketing activities, programs and budgets as appropriate and related to the area of expertise consistent with marketing communications and brand strategies. Act as point of contact in given discipline for internal and external
3rd party vendors. Act as focal point for sharing of best practices across GBU/LOBs (Global Business Unit/Line of Business) for best practices. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position. Might, on top of level 1, for example develop marketing communication
campaigns, promote products and services through public relations initiatives, editing and proofreading and revision of communications, etc.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient in MS Office.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in deadline driven environment.
Scope of Work
Pro-actively ensure all staff have access to a range of engaging and timely site and company news, colleague insights and operational / administrative information
Utilise a range of delivery channels including digital, print, video, meetings and events
Work closely with Organisational Development to deliver events to support corporate values programme
Support I&D employee representative groups to develop their communications and engagement across site
Seek ongoing employee feedback on content and channel effectiveness and propose developments where required
Required skills and experience
Circa 2-5 years in communications role
Ability to communicate well with a range of different people
Good written communication and editing skills
To be innovative and creative
Good project management skills
Accuracy and a good eye for detail
Ability to clearly explain complex issues
Experience of a range of internal communications channels
