Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) - NW London - Ongoing
We're on the lookout for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with community experience, ready for a new challenge! Here are the key details:
- Job Role: CPN - (Must have previous community experience)
- Band: 6
- Location: North West London
- Duration: 3 months (ongoing)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday / 9 am - 5 pm
- Start date: ASAP
- Rate of pay: £28 - £30 per hour
Day in the Life of an RMN:
As a mental health nurse focusing on the community, your role is crucial in providing care for patients. You'll be:
- Conducting visits to check in on patients in the community and ensure their needs are met.
- Administering medication at scheduled times to address patients' needs.
- Engaging with patients, understanding their conditions, and providing efficient assistance while monitoring progress.
- Performing necessary risk assessments to maintain a safe environment during treatment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Active NMC registration as a mental health nurse.
- Proven community experience.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Dedication to delivering the highest quality of care to patients.
