Are you an experienced and dedicated Psychiatrist Consultant with a passion for Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)? Day Webster Recruitment agency is thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity for a Community CAMHS Psychiatrist Consultant to join our esteemed team.

Requirements:
  • Valid GMC registration and license to practice in the UK
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Completion of clinical attachment in CAMHS
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist, with significant experience in CAMHS
  • Section 12 approval is desirable

Duties:
  • Provide expert psychiatric assessment and treatment to children and adolescents in the community setting
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments and multidisciplinary input
  • Work collaboratively with community-based mental health teams, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to deliver holistic care to patients
  • Offer consultation and support to primary care providers, schools, and other community agencies involved in the care of young individuals with mental health needs
  • Participate in regular case reviews, team meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to ensure high-quality, person-centred care delivery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Engage in service development activities and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of CAMHS services
