Job Responsibilities:
As a care worker you will visit the homes of elderly, disabled and vulnerable adults to provide a range of services which enable them to live independently. You ll find that no two days are the same, but one thing for sure is that you ll get to know your clients, their likes and dislikes, and by working with them you ll be helping them stay safely in their own home. Here are some of the things you might support with:
Assisting with personal care and dressingCooking and serving nutritious mealsHelping prepare and administer medicationSocial support and companionshipChatting to customers and keeping them companyLight housework such as the occasional washPromoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full Requirements of Community Care Assistant:

We work in the community, so you will need to drive and have access to a car

Wages start at GBP13.00 per hour, rising to GBP13.50 per hour at weekends and GBP16.20 at bank holidays. Basic rates of pay increase the longer you stay at the company.
