First choice are pleased to be recruiting a Locality manager for the Community Care team based in Ballymena. The post holder will carry out a range of duties as outlined in the responsibilities below and will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical services to professional staff within Northern Health and Social Care Trust. This is a job share role which will offer the successful candidate 18.75 hours per week at a pay rate of £13.84. Work pattern will be Monday, Tuesday and alternate Friday’s. This role is set to last a minimum of 9 months with the potential to become permanent. What The Job Entails: Participate when required in the Recruitment and Selection of staff in accordance with Trust procedures and Initiate contact following Admin and Clerical protocols regarding employment of Recruitment Agency staff. Prepare arrangements for advertising of posts as appropriate, paying particular attention to the management of the recruitment process from its initiation to completion Liaise with other Locality Managers to ensure effective use of resources and provide cover during times of Annual Leave/Sick Leave Review and monitor staff particularly during probationary period, evaluating performance and taking appropriate action as required to assist with training Assist with the control and decision making associated with the management of the secretarial/clerical budget for their area.
