Community Care Worker

We are seeking community workers to work within the areas of looe, pelynt and bodmin areas providing support within the community

hours are between 7am-2pm , 4pm -8pm

Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Workers. As a Community Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care in their homes or assisted living facilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Duties:
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring client safety at all times
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare personnel
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship
- Provide emotional support and comfort to clients and their families
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

Requirements:
- Previous experience in assisted living, patient care, home care, dementia care, or a related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting with transfers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
