SalaryOur client is actively seeking an experienced individual with a background in fundraising to join their team in the role of Community Fundraiser. This part-time position offers flexible hours, typically requiring 2-3 days per week.
As a Community Fundraiser, the successful candidate will be responsible for both raising funds and enhancing awareness of the charity and its impactful work.
Duties:
Plan and execute fundraising initiatives to generate financial support for the charity.
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
Develop and implement creative strategies to diversify fundraising streams.
Build strong relationships with the local community to promote the charity's mission and activities.
Organise and participate in community events to increase awareness and support.
Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities and donor interactions.
Prepare regular reports detailing fundraising performance and contributing insights for improvement.
Requirements
Proven experience in fundraising.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Passion for the charity's mission and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact.
Flexibility to work part-time hours (2-3 days per week).
Experience working with children would be beneficial
