Community Development Manager (England)

Join the Chartered Institute for Library and Information Professionals (CILIP) as a key member of our team in an exciting new role.  As the CILIP Learn Development Manager you will lead the development and launch of CILIP’s extended training offer, CILIP Learn.  We are looking for someone who has experience of developing services or products from concept to commercial success. 

The successful candidate will have the knowledge, skills and experience to effectively:

• Take overall responsibility for the development and launch of CILIP’s extended training offer, CILIP Learn
• Develop and manage the structure, programming, and commissioning of content for our learning management system
• Lead the development of the design, marketing and communications plans for CILIP Learn, including audience development
• Work across CILIP to lead on the online platform integration and operational integration required for CILIP Learn
• Develop and embed the business modelling, monitoring and performance measures for CILIP Learn
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
• Foster strong relationships with trainers and partners delivering training and content through CILIP Learn

Our office is conveniently located in The British Library, just a short walk from St Pancras and Kings Cross stations.  Embracing the future of work, CILIP supports hybrid working, allowing the successful candidate the option to work from home three days a week.
