Thanks to a new five-year grant from the Big Lottery, H4All is seeking a Health & Wellbeing Programme Officer.
This role is offered as full-time, although part-time job sharing will be considered – please specify your preference when you submit your application.
The team’s primary objectives are to:
- Grow resilience and increase the capacity of Hillingdon’s health-focused voluntary sector organisations;
- Promote innovative approaches to improving population health and wellbeing, and;
- Improve collaborative working across the voluntary sector.
For the role of Health and Wellbeing Officer the main responsibilities will be:
- To develop a comprehensive, needs-led programme of infrastructure training and support for health and care-facing third sector groups and organisations working in Hillingdon
- To promote collaborative working across the sector that maximises the sector’s efficacy and collective impact on population health and wellbeing
- To support the sector to maximise efficient use - and sharing - of community assets and resources and to attract new resources where there is an identified need or gap.

- £25,000 - £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The ideal candidate will need:
- Experience of partnership working with a range of other organisations.
- Experience of project development and delivery
- Experience of organising public events and an awareness of relevant legislative requirements, such as risk assessments and health and safety considerations
- An understanding of effective partnership working and skilled in creating new partnerships
