What does the Fixed Term Contract (FTC) Community Engagement Executive at The Student Room do?

Reporting to the Head of Community Engagement, the Community Engagement Executive provides key administrative support across our community forums.
Key Role Responsibilities
•An active member of the TSR community, spending a significant proportion of your time supporting and organising conversation on the site. •Provide helpful responses to queries and questions, gather feedback and insight from site members, and signpost them to helpful resources and other community members.•Help to guide our team of volunteers, ensuring they are actively engaged in engagement campaign briefs and assignments and are supporting our goal to help young people make informed decisions that are right for them.•You’ll be a site ‘super-user’ and will understand the intricacies of how users engage with the site. You’ll use this knowledge to manage and grow some of our key community initiatives such as our Grow Your Grades blogging competition and our Revision and Exam engagement campaign.

A passion for supporting students and young people - and empathy for the challenges they face.·Strong understanding of Gen Z and Gen Alpha and what appeals to them.·An interest in secondary education, further education (FE) and higher education (HE) sectors.·An interest in developing online communities.·A high level of emotional intelligence and ability to get the best out of the people around them.·Strong written and verbal communication skills.·A natural team player who is comfortable working in close collaboration with others.·Has a proactive ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to develop self and area of work.
Location: Remote/Hybrid/office
Salary: £13,455 per annum (FTE: £22,425 per annum)
Hours: This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week. Hours/ days of work to be discussed at interview stage.
Duration: This is a Fixed Term Contract (FTC) until 30th June 2025.
